Chapter 46. STREETS, SIDEWALKS AND CERTAIN OTHER PUBLIC PLACES |
Article III. STREET AND UTILITY RIGHT-OF-WAY |
§ 46-105. Inspection.
In all cases the permittee, for a street cut, shall notify the city when the work will commence so, if necessary, arrangements can be made to have an inspector present while the work is in progress. Arrangements for work completed on weekends can be accommodated, but will require an extra fee to cover staff overtime. Except where the permittee is a telecommunications provider as defined in the Telecommunications Ordinance the permittee may be billed for the necessary expense of the inspector. All connections made to water and sewer mains require inspections prior to backfill.
